I was going to note the passing of longtime baseball great Don Zimmer. Rockies fans will remember him as a member of the first coaching staff of Colorado's expansion team.But three New Brunswick (Canada) police officers were killed today by an active shooter. Two more were wounded. The suspect apparently remains at large. My thoughts tonight are with the officers risking their lives to bring this incident to a close, and with the families of those who lost their lives or are recovering from wounds. We stand together, brothers and sisters who face danger so that our communities can be safe. Borders are irrelevant.
